Polish planist Krzysztof Moskalewicz follows a path of versatility in his musical repertoire and values the possibilities for deep communication through the medium of music. He has performed at many prestigious venues, including the Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, Milton Court Concert Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Palacio de Festivales de Santander, the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio in Warsaw and other concert halle across Europe, In Japan and the United States. He has also appeared as a soloist with the Opole Philharmonic Orchestra, Radom Chamber Orchestra and Chopin State School Symphony Orchestra. Krzysztof has participated in many international music festivals worldwide. He attended the Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado. He worked with Maestro Thomas Adès at the International Musicians Seminar in Prussia Cove and Christian Blackshaw at the Hellensmusic Festival. He also performed at the International Chamber Music Festival Harmos in Casa di Musica in Porto, 17th Encuentro de Música y Academia de Santander, Aegean Arts International Festival in Crete and Leipzig Bach Festival. His performances in the 2018/2019 season included a solo recital at London’s St Martin-in-the-Fields and then Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto at St John’s Church in Waterloo. A year later, following the London debut recital for The Chopin Society UK, he recorded an extraordinary recital on Chopin’s own Playel plano on which Chopin composed some of his last works.

Krzysztof began his plano studies at the age of seven with Renata Lasocka and went on to win prizes in national piano competitions. In 2011, he graduated with distinction from the Frederic Chopin State School of Music in Warsaw (having studied with Joanna Kurpiowska). In 2017, he received a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance with first-class honours from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (studying with Ronan O’Hora), and was offered a Guildhall Artist Fellowship. He also holds a Professional Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with lan Fountain.

Krzysztof has been a prizewinner at several major International piano competitions, Including the International Brant Piano Competition in Birmingham, the Christopher Duke International Piano Recital Competition in London, and the Piano Competition of Ludwik Stefanski Plock in Poland.
